In 1984, Douglas and Sufia Cooper laid the foundation for what would become a beloved institution in the heart of Bangladesh. They inaugurated Coopers in Kalabagan, starting with a modest 1,000-square-foot factory. Fueled by an unwavering passion for baking and a dream of bringing modern bakery delights to the bustling capital, they set out on a journey that spanned decades and touched countless lives.

Over the years, the growth of Coopers mirrored the vibrant evolution of the city it calls home. By 1986, we proudly unveiled our second outlet in Gulshan 2 and expanded into a 1,500-square-foot facility two years later.

The turn of the millennium saw a pivotal shift. In 1999, the reins of Coopers were handed over to the dynamic duo, John and Simon Cooper. The brothers, drawing from their rich legacy and vision, embarked on a transformative journey. Their relentless pursuit of excellence led to the expansion of the factory to 3,000 square feet, the launch of new outlets in Uttara and Shantinagar by 2005, and the eventual establishment of a state-of-the-art 60,000-square-foot factory in Ashulia.

Today, Coopers stands tall with 50 outlets spread across Dhaka and Chittagong, employing over 500 dedicated individuals. Yet, despite our extensive growth, our core remains unchanged: crafting quality, wholesome products that evoke cherished memories and moments of joy.
